Set up Instruction for Threaded&Grooved Mechanical Tee
1. Pipe Preparing
Cleanse the gasket sealing surface inside 16mm of the gap and examine the sealing surface area visually for defects that may possibly avoid proper sealing of the gasket. Will not drill the gap on weld line.
2. Remove burrs
Remove any burrs or slug prior to installation to shield the gasket and stop leakage.
three. Gasket&Housing Installation
Insert the gasket into outlet housing and make sure the tab in the gasket line up with the tab recessing in the housing. Align outlet housing more than the pipe hole making confident that the locating collar is in the pipe hole.
four. Alignment
Align the strap all around the pipe, insert the bolts and tighten the nuts.
5. Tighten nuts
Alternatively and evenly tighten the nuts to the specified bolt torque.
6. Installation full
There should be even gaps on two sides amongst the higher and reduced housings.
